Hamilton Police Service works in partnership with the Hamilton-Wentworth and the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Boards. Students work with their Guidance Counsellors to review the available placement opportunities. These will be in a variety of departments such as Training, Information Technology, Traffic, Courts, and other specialized units. Students apply via their school and will be short-listed by the Boards and our Service. This will be followed with an invitation for a panel interview.
Successful students must then pass a security clearance. We also do consider students from other secondary schools in the City of Hamilton. Please contact the Co-op Department at your school for further information.
All placements and expressions of interest must be made through the High School Co-op Departments.
