Hamilton Police are continuing their efforts to locate missing person John Edwards and are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing his movements.

The last confirmed sighting occurred on June 11th at approximately 4:00 p.m. John Edwards was captured on surveillance video at the Petro Canada gas station at #5 Concession Road 6, where he was observed crossing the busy intersection at Highway 6, heading toward Millgrove Side Road. He appeared to be coming from the direction of the ESSO gas station at Highway 6 and Centre Road.

At this time, investigators do not have a confirmed direction of travel beyond this point. Police are appealing to the public and local businesses for any video surveillance footage from the area of Highway 6 and Millgrove Side Road that may help determine his next steps.

His walking behaviour has been described as unpredictable, with no clear pattern or destination. This uncertainty has made public assistance crucial in helping trace his path and ensure his safety.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hamilton Police Service Missing Person Unit at 905-540-8549 or Division 30 Patrol Staff Sergeant at 905-546-3886.
