Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting incident after a male attended a local hospital with a gunshot wound.

Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, a male arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The injury is considered non-life-threatening.

Through the course of the investigation, police learned that the male had previously been at Venu Bar, located at 627 King Street East, Hamilton.

Detectives were able to determine that the individual who suffered the gunshot wound was the same individual alleged to be responsible for the shooting. He is believed to...
