Allan Kinloch

Hamilton Police continue to seek information about the homicide of Allan Kinloch.

On May 20, 1982, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Allan was a front-seat passenger in a car travelling toward Hamilton on York Boulevard after exiting Highway 403. Another vehicle pulled alongside, and someone inside fired four shots into the car, striking Allan.

The suspect vehicle, described as a large, dark green car carrying two or three men, made a U-turn and sped toward Burlington.

Allan’s friend drove into Hamilton and flagged down patrol officers at York Boulevard and Bay Street. Allan was rushed to Hamilton General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

Allan was a member of the Satan’s Choice Motorcycle Club. Investigators believe his murder may have been connected to conflict between rival motorcycle clubs or a dispute within his own club.

Few witnesses were willing to cooperate at the time. Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting, the suspect vehicle or its occupants to come forward.

Time can change the circumstances that once kept someone silent. What you know could help establish who killed Allan and provide the answers his family has waited decades to receive.

You do not need to have witnessed the crime or be certain your information is significant. Something you saw, heard or remember could help investigators find answers for a family still waiting.
