Colin Jardine

Hamilton Police continue to seek information about the homicide of Colin Jardine.

On October 21, 2003, at approximately 10:45 p.m., police received a 911 call reporting a home invasion at a residence on Maplewood Avenue in Hamilton. Four armed men entered the home and demanded money. When their demands were not met, they punched and shot Colin, who had stopped by to visit the residents.

The suspects were described as four Black men. Investigators believe the residence was targeted, but Colin was not the intended target.

Anyone with information about the home invasion or those responsible is asked to contact Hamilton Police.

With the passage of time, someone who was previously reluctant to speak may now feel ready to come forward. Even the smallest detail could help investigators solve Colin’s murder and bring answers to his family.

You do not need to have witnessed the crime or be certain your information is significant. Something you saw, heard or remember could help investigators find answers for a family still waiting.
