Unsolved Homicide

Emily Bailey was 23 years old when she disappeared. Her family continues to seek answers, and Hamilton Police remain committed to finding out what happened to her.

Emily was reported missing on January 10, 2022, after family and friends were unable to reach or locate her — behaviour that was completely out of character. She was last seen in the area of Weir Street North and has not been seen or heard from since.

Despite extensive investigative efforts, Emily remains missing. Investigators believe foul play was involved and that there are people with information about her disappearance who have not yet come forward.

Emily is described as:

• White female
• 23 years old at the time of her disappearance
• 5’4” tall and approximately 100 lbs
• Slim build
• Shoulder-length black or brown hair with dyed blue or green highlights
• She has two distinctive tattoos:
• An elephant on her left forearm
• A Batman symbol on the outside of her right forearm

Anyone with information about Emily’s whereabouts or the circumstance of her disappearance is urged to contact Hamilton Police. Even a detail that seems small could help investigators find answers for her family.

You do not need to have witnessed the crime or be certain your information is significant. Something you saw, heard or remember could help investigators find answers for a family still waiting.
